Amsterdam

March 29th – April 1st

Built on a network of centuries-old canals, Amsterdam is a delightful city. The largest and most cosmopolitan city of the Netherlands, it is also the diamond-cutting capital of the world. Upon arrival on March 29th you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the city* after checking into your hotel. The next morning, March 30th, explore Amsterdam’s incredible museums including the Rijksmuseum* considered one of the top three art museums in the world and home to Rembrandt’s “Nightwatch”. Later you will visit the Van Gogh Museum*. The museum’s collection is the largest collection of Van Gogh’s paintings and drawings in the world. This afternoon dedicate time to discovering such fascinating sights as the Flower Market, Dam Square and Rembrandt Square. On March 31st a visit to the Anne Frank House* is planned. The home is where Anne Frank took refuge during the Nazi invasion of World War II and wrote her famous diary. This afternoon is dedicated to some last minute sightseeing, shopping, strolling through Vondelpark, or simply enjoying the ambience of this beautiful city known as “the Venice of the North”. This evening you may optionally wish to enjoy a scenic canal cruise which offers fabulous views of this lovely area, (complimentary to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline). The next morning you will depart for Paris.

Paris

April 1st – April 5th

Upon arrival on April 1st you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the city* after checking into your hotel, viewing such famous landmarks as the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, and the Place de la Concorde. The next morning, April 2nd, you will visit the Louvre* (world’s largest art museum), housing such legends as the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory and the Mona Lisa. Later today a visit is planned to the Musee d’ Orsay*, which showcases the largest collection of impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces in the world. This evening, enjoy a thrilling ascent of the Eiffel Tower*. April 3rd begins with an excursion to the Palace of Versailles*, once home to King Louis XIV, the “Sun King”. The Palace and grounds are sure to enchant you with their opulent splendor. Later this afternoon return to Paris and dedicate time discovering such sights as Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Montmartre and Place du Tertre. Your final day in Paris, April 4th, is dedicated to last minute sightseeing, shopping for souvenirs or delighting in Parisian Boulevards and cafes with your tour leader. The following morning, April 5th, you will return to the United States with fond memories, amazing experiences and perhaps a souvenir or two from your European adventure.

 

SPECIAL TOUR CONDITIONS: **The tour price, if payments are made by cash or check, is $3,265.00; otherwise, if paying by credit card, the standard non-discounted price is $3,365.00. Tour participation is based on triple occupancy and includes roundtrip airfare from Orlando point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe and all breakfasts. *The entrance fees and/or transportation, marked with an asterisk, which are included in the tour price are, (the Louvre, Musee d’ Orsay, Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank House and guided tours in Paris and Amsterdam), while other items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability, and are not included in the tour price. A guaranteed single room may be available for a supplemental charge of $425.00. A guaranteed double room may be available for a supplemental charge of $95.00 per person. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees. If applicable, tax increases will be billed on a supplemental invoice. A minimum number of paying participants may be required to operate the tour. All tour participants must submit a signed application. A $500.00 initial deposit* is due no later than November 21, 2014 and will reserve your space on this tour. The tour cost, including the initial deposit, is fully refundable if the tour does not operate.
