Tuesday, June 16th
Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Germany. Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered. Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.
Wednesday, June 17th
Your European adventure begins in Munich with a walking city tour after checking into your hotel. You may discover such diverse and interesting sites as the Old City, the town hall featuring the Glockenspiel Chimes and moving clockwork figures and Frauenkirche with its distinctive onion-shaped domes. Dinner is included tonight.
Thursday, June 18th
Today you will explore Munich with your tour leader. You may optionally wish to visit such sights as The Nymphenburg Place, or the Neue Pinakothek, one of Munich’s best art galleries in your free time.
Friday, June 19th
This morning begins with a visit to Dachau. An afternoon excursion to Neuschwanstein, the fairytale castle built for ‘Mad King Ludwig’ and which has awed generations with its beauty and breathtaking vistas is also planned for today.
Saturday, June 20th
Today you will depart for Vienna. Upon arrival you will enjoy a city tour via the Ringstrasse or “Ring Road” which surrounds the entirety of the city’s inner district. You may see such sites as Stephansdom, Platz am Hof Fahnrichsof and the DomGasse, famous as Vienna’s first office house as well as its association with Mozart. Dinner is included tonight.
Sunday, June 21st
This morning a visit to Schonbrunn Palace is planned. A former imperial residence with 1441 rooms, a maze, and many outdoor gardens to explore; it is sure to delight. Your afternoon is free to explore Vienna on your own.
Monday, June 22nd
Today you will depart for Salzburg. Upon arrival you will enjoy a guided sound of Music Tour which highlights the setting of the movie based on the true story of the Von Trapp family singers. A visit to the birthplace of Mozart will be the finale of your tour before checking into your hotel . Dinner is included tonight.
Tuesday, June 23rd
As your journey comes to an end, you will travel to Innsbruck today. Your city tour will be encompassed by the majestic beauty of the Alps that surround the city. A visit to the Swarovski Crystal Factory en route to your Hotel is planned. Your day will culminate with a farewell dinner.
Wednesday, June 24th
This morning you will transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States, taking with you unforgettable memories of your journey.
