Paris
April 2 – April 4, 2015
On April 2, Paris will greet you with all the charm and elegance for which it is famous. Your guided city tour* will take you to sites such as the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Sacré Coeur, Notre Dame and Place de la Concorde. Later that day you will experience a guided visit to the Louvre*, the world’s largest museum and home to the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory and Venus de Milo among other priceless works of art. This evening enjoy an illuminating visit to the Eiffel Tour*. April 3 includes a visit to the Musée d’Orsay*, which houses the largest collection of impressionist and post-impressionist masterpieces in the world, by painters including Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin and Van Gogh. Saint Chapelle* may be your next stop, where you may be granted the rare opportunity to see their most revered relic, the “Crown of Thorns”, which Christ reportedly wore during his crucifixion (pending availability). It is only available for viewing on Good Friday of every year. A visit to Paris’ most notable cathedral, Notre Dame is also planned. You will be entranced by its grandeur. Later you may want to visit the infamous catacombs in Paris, (free to those who submit their deposit and application by the deadline), or complete some last minute shopping. On April 4 you will return home, bringing with you fond memories of your incredible journey in France.
