Today you depart the US on your flight to Puerto Rico.  Upon arrival to Puerto Rico you will meet your private coach for transfer to hotel.  Discover area points of interest near your hotel this evening.

May 11, 2014 

Spend today enjoying an excursion to Old San Juan fort. Constructed in 1539 El Morro Fort (Castillo San Felipe del Morro) was built to protect the city of San Juan from seaborne enemies. Afterwards, enjoy visiting the city of Old San Juan, a wel1 preserved 16th century Spanish Colonial city. Included in your tour is a visit to the Bacardi Rum Factory.

May 12, 2014  

This morning you will depart the hotel for a full day guided excursion to the Rain forest, El Yunque, the only tropical rain forest in the USDA Forest Service and is now nominated for the New 7 Wonders of the World.  You may have the opportunity to visit “la Mina” waterfall, depending on weather conditions, by hiking through La Mina trail or Big Tree trail.

Dedicate today to an Ecological Walking tour at Pinones where you will be able to make comparisons of the different sand types, and view types of mangroves, marine and wetland area.  In addition, you will enjoy time exploring the largest mangrove forest on Puerto Rico!

May 14, 2014  

Today you will travel by private coach to the Camuy River Caverns and Arecibo Observatory, where scenes from the James Bond movie “Golden Eye” and “Contact” were filmed, for exploration.  The river cave system formed over one million years ago and is home to the third largest underwater river in the world.

May 15, 2014

Visit the Bio Bay at Fajardo town located at the eastside of Puerto Rico by kayaking through the mangrove canal with guided tour up to a marvelous bay where you can see the water glow once you touch the water.

May 16, 2014

On your last day a free day at leisure is planned to enjoy the culture of the city.  Perhaps you would like to dedicate today to discovering the sights in Puerto Rico’s old town, or explore the beaches on your own.

On May 17th you will bid farewell to the charm of San Juan and return home, taking with you fond memories of your incredible journey.
