Thursday January 16

Upon arrival you will be met by your private coach and transferred to your hotel.  After you have dropped your bags and checked in to the hotel, you will depart for lunch.  The rest of the afternoon will be devoted to shopping and sight seeing with your chaperones.  A pizza and calzones dinner buffet is on the menu at Times Square’s famous John’s Pizzeria. You will not have a better time at the theater than tonight when you see Broadway’s “Matilda.”º

Friday January 17

Start your day with a hot breakfast at Applebee’s. Afterwards, your guided sightseeing tour introduces you to such sights as Central Park, Battery Park, Wall Street and Rockefeller Center.  Lunch will be served in Little Italy at La Mela Ristorante Italiano.  After lunch, you will visit the 9/11 Memorial, a memorial built to honor and remember those killed in the terrorists attacks on September 11, 2001. Some New York shopping and a visit to Chinatown will complete your afternoon.  A group photo will follow.  Later, you will see the new circus-inspired Broadway musical “Pippin.”º

Saturday January 18

Following breakfast you will have time for any remaining sights you may want to see.   Lunch is planned at Hard Rock Café, Times square.  Then enjoy a Saturday matinee with the explosive new musical, “Motown.”º   After dinner it is planned for your group to enjoy “Kinky Boots,”º winner of six 2013 Tony Awards.

Sunday January 19

Enjoy a hot breakfast.  This morning you will receive hands on interaction with a New York actor and a makeup artist during a workshop at a New York studio.  These workshops will provide you with a fun and challenging introduction to the world of acting and theatre makeup.  A deli lunch will be provided for you.  Then, board your coach for a ride to the airport and take with you memories of this amazing journey.
