Sunday, June 1^st

 

Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Germany.  Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered.  Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.

 

 

 

Monday, June 2^nd

 

Upon arrival you will be met and begin your adventure with a guided city tour en-route to your hotel.  Some points of interest that you will see are the Reichstag, Chancellery, Unter den Linden, Bellevue Palace, Brandenburg Gate  and City Hall.

 

 

 

Tuesday, June 3^rd

 

Today you will visit the Berlin Wall Museum at Checkpoint Charlie.  In the afternoon you will optionally ascend the Fernsehturm Tower (free to those who registered by the due date).

 

 

 

Wednesday, June 4^th

 

A full day excursion to Dresden is planned for today.  Here you will see castles and beautiful churches while visiting the Old Town.

 

 

 

Thursday, June 5^th

 

Today you travel to Heidelberg, a beautiful city overlooking the Neckar River.

 

 

 

Friday, June 6^th

 

Today you will enjoy a guided city tour including the Old Town, Castle and Student Prison at the Old University. 

 

 

 

Saturday, June 7^th

 

At 9:30 am you depart Heidelberg and travel to Augsburg,  At 2:00 pm you will meet your local guide and spend 2 hours learning about the Fuggers.

 

 

 

Sunday, June 8^th

 

At 8:30 am you depart your hotel for a full day excursion to Linderhof Castle, Neuschwanstein Castle and Wieskirche.

 

 

 

Monday, June 9^th

 

8:00 am is the departure time from Augsburg for a full day visit to Munich.  There will be a guided tour and then plenty of free time to enjoy this beautiful city.  You arrive back to Augsburg at 7:00 pm

 

 

 

Tuesday, June 10^th

 

You depart Augsburg for Munich Airport at 12:00 noon; therefore, your morning will be free for shopping and further sightseeing in Augsburg.  Your return flight to Washington departs at 3:55 pm.
