Depart USA on overnight flight bound for Rome, Italy (Rome).
Sunday, March 23
Upon arrival to Rome you will transfer to Florence via the train. This evening you may enjoy exploring area points of interest with your tour leader.
Monday, March 24
Begin today with a guided city tour including a visit to the Academia, famous for Michelangelo’s statue of David. Later today a visit is planned to the Duomo.
Tuesday, March 25
Dedicate today to discover the treasures of Florence with your tour leader as you explore this magnificent city. The eclectic Ponte Vecchio, the famous straw and leather markets and more all await you on Florence’s historic streets.
Wednesday, March 26
This morning you will bid farewell to Florence as you travel by train to Livorno. This afternoon enjoy exploring this coastal town with your tour leader.
Thursday, March 27
Today is dedicated to discovering the culture and ambience of Livorno at leisure.
Friday, March 28
Today you will transfer to Rome by train. Upon arrival you will enjoy steeping yourself in Roman history and culture as you explore on your Hop On/Hop Off guided bus tour. Visits are planned to the Colosseum and Forum.
Saturday, March 29
Begin today with a guided visit to the Vatican Museums where you may have a chance to view religious relics and treasures accumulated over the centuries or visit the gorgeous Sistine Chapel, painted by the illustrious Michelangelo. Later this afternoon you will have time for last minute sightseeing, shopping for souvenirs or delighting in Roman piazzas and cafes with your tour leader.
Sunday, March 30
Today you will board a plane bound for home with souvenirs, memories, and perhaps a photo or two in tow marking the end of your European adventure.
