Saturday, March 22nd
Today you depart Los Angeles on your overnight flight to Paris. Naturally, meals will be served and optional in-flight entertainment offered. Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.
Sunday, March 23rd
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Caen with a stop in Honfleur enroute. Following your Honfleur visit your will continue to the Caen Peace Memorial Museum. Hotel check-in follows with dinner included at the hotel.
Monday, March 24th
This morning you will take a guided tour of the D-day Beaches and American Cemetery. Upon completion of the tour you will have a lunch break and time to explore with Mr. Moyal in Bayeux. Dinner is included upon return to Caen.
Tuesday, March 25th
Today a trip is planned to Mt St Michel where you will visit the magnificent Abbey of St Michael. Perhaps you will want to sample some of the cookies or famous apple desserts for which this area is renowned. A late afternoon transfer to Blois followed by dinner finishes your day.
Wednesday, March 26th
Begin today with a visit the Chateau of Chambord. Later this afternoon you will visit the Chateau of Blois. Dinner tonight is included.
Thursday, March 27th
Today you transfer to Paris. Upon arrival to Paris you will enjoy a guided orientation tour before arriving at your hotel. Dinner tonight is included in the Latin Quarter..
Friday, March 28th
Highlights of today will include a morning visit to Notre Dame and Pantheon you’re your tour leader. A guided visit to the Louvre is planned for the afternoon. Dinner is included. This evening you will enjoy a Seine River Cruise and optionally ascend the Eiffel Tower (free to those whose registration and deposit were mailed by the due date).
Saturday, March 29th
Today you will visit the Musee d’Orsay with your tour leader. In the afternoon you will visit the Dome Church (Napoleon’s Tome) and Rodin’s Garden where you will see his famous sculpture “The Thinker”. Dinner is included.
Sunday, March 30th
This morning you transfer to de Gaulle Airport where you board your flight return flight to the US. Please refer to your flight schedule for details.

Tour participation is based on triple occupancy and includes roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles, point-to point transportation between cities while in Europe, all breakfasts and dinners. *The entrance fees and/or transportation, marked with an asterisk, which are included in the tour price are the Caen Memorial, Mt. St. Michel, Chateau Chambord, Chateau Blois, Pantheon, Rodin’s Garden, Napoleon’s Dome Church, Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, a Seine River Cruise, and guided tours in Caen & Paris, while other items may be offered optionally, are subject to availability, and are not included in the tour price. Included are the estimated applicable governmental international airline ticket taxes, fuel surcharges, security surcharges, and associated fees, which averaged $658.00 and upwards in the 2012/13 travel season. All tour participants must submit a signed application. A $1000.00 initial deposit* is due no later than November 1, 2013 and will reserve your space on this tour (initial deposit fully refundable if tour does not operate).
