April 17th – Day 1
Today you depart the United States on your overnight flight to Europe. Naturally, meals will be served and optional in flight entertainment will be offered. Please refer to your flight schedule for pertinent details.
April 18th – Day 2
Upon arrival to Florence you will enjoy a guided tour of the city including the Academia after your hotel check-in. This evening you will visit area points of interest with your tour leader. Dinner is Included.
April 19th – Day 3
This morning local sightseeing is planned with your tour leader to area points of interest including the Uffizi. Other highlights may include visiting the Medici Chapel, shopping in the straw market and open-air market, visiting a leather factory and strolling across the Ponte-Vecchio to see the gold and silver shops. Dinner Included.
April 20th – Day 4
Dedicate this morning at leisure to exploring the fantastic sites this city has to offer including museums, churches, markets, and much more. This afternoon, bid farewell to Florence as you transfer to Rome. Dinner is included.
April 21st – Day 5
Today begins with a city tour including the Colosseum and Forum. Later this afternoon you may wish to visit such sites as the Capitoline Museum, San Pietro in Vincoli, San Clemente, Castle Sant Angelo, the temple of Minerva, or many others. Dinner included.
April 22nd – Day 6
This morning begins with a guided tour of the Vatican Museums, including St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. Dedicate this afternoon to visiting area points of interest with your tour leader, including the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and much more. Dinner Included.
April 23rd – Day 7
On your last day in Rome, enjoy a scenic ride along the Via Appia Antica to the Catacombs. Later this afternoon save time for last minute shopping including a stop for some gelato on your last evening in Rome. Farewell dinner.
April 24th – Day 8
