Upon arrival in London you will enjoy a guided tour of the city including a visit to the Churchill War Rooms of  Imperial War Museum en-route to your hotel.  Enjoy discovering area points of interest with your tour leader this evening.   Dinner is included.

 

Saturday, June 14, 2014

Bid farewell to London as you travel to Portsmouth to visit the D-day Museum before crossing the English Channel by ferry to France.

 

Sunday, June 15, 2014

This morning will greet you with your landing in Normandy.  Today visits are planned to Sainte-Mere Eglise, Point du hoc and Omaha Beach, then spend the afternoon in the American Cemetery.  Dinner is included.

 

Monday, June 16, 2014

This morning you will visit the Caen Memorial, then Longues sur mer and Arromanches. Then embark on the afternoon train to Paris.  This evening enjoy an ascent of the Eiffel Tower (free to those who submit their application and deposit by the deadline.)

 

Tuesday, June 17, 2014

Begin today with a guided tour of the city, including a visit to the beautiful Musee d’Orsay.  Later this afternoon enjoy exploring area points of interest with your tour leader to include such sights as Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur.  This evening a departure for Nuremburg is planned on a late night train.

 

 

Wednesday, June 18, 2014

After your late night train trip, you may sleep in a little , and then begin today with a tour of  Nuremburg Castle. Later this afternoon you will enjoy a guided tour of the Documentation Center Museum and Nazi Rally Grounds.

 

Thursday, June 19, 2014

Begin today with a guided walking tour of the city where you will see such sites as Hauptmarkt with its famous fountain, and the gothic St. Lorenz church. Spend the remainder of today discovering fascinating sites in Nuremburg with your tour leader.

 

Friday, June 20, 2014

This morning you will travel to Munich with a visit to Dachau Concentration camp en-route.  Upon arrival you will enjoy a guided tour of the city including a visit to the White Rose before Hotel check-in. Dinner tonight will be served at “The Ratskeller” serving authentic German Cuisine.

 

Saturday, June 21, 2014

Today an excursion is planned to visit Hitler’s Eagles Nest.  On your return to Munich enjoy a farewell dinner at the Hofbrauhaus.

Sunday, June 22, 2014

This morning you will transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States.
