DAY 1: This morning you will depart your hometown and travel (bus/fly) to Memphis, Tennessee. You will be met by your tour
leader/guide who will take you on your guided Memphis City Tour. Some of the sights you may see include the Pyramid, Mississippi
River, Beale Street, Peabody Hotel, Sun Studio, St. Jude Hospital, National Civil Rights Museum, Elvis & B.B. King Statues, FedEx Forum,
Rock 'N Soul Museum, Gibson Guitar, and AutoZone Redbirds Stadium.
DAY 2: After breakfast at your hotel, you will take a 90-minute sightseeing cruise on the mighty Mississippi River. Your river guide will
teach you about the importance and beauty of the Mississippi River as well as related tales told by Mark Twain. The exhibits and
collections you will see at the National Civil Rights Museum will leave an impression of "past meets present". They highlight such
landmark moments as the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the Memphis Sanitation Strike and other milestones along the path of the
Civil Rights Movement as a whole and how we are affected currently throughout the world.
DAY 3: Your day is devoted to Rock-n-Roll music and Elvis Presley. Your first stop will begin with a tour of Sun Studio, where
Elvis recorded his first song. This studio is also the starting point for Rock-N-Roll legends like Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. After
your tour, a shuttle bus will connect you to the legendary Graceland. Since opening in 1982, Elvis Presley's Graceland has immortalized
and preserved the life of the famous performer. The tour of the mansion will bring you around the main rooms as well
as the Trophy Room, which houses Elvis's Grammy Awards, movie memorabilia, and gold records. Other areas of the 14-acre estate
may be visited including the car museum and custom jet, Elvis in Hollywood Exhibit, and the Meditation Garden where Elvis
and other family members have been laid to rest.
DAY 4: Today's highlight will take you to the Memphis Zoo. This zoo is unlike any other zoo. Here you will learn about the famous
lion roar (recorded here), heard at the beginning of classic MGM movies. After lunch you will transfer to the airport for your
return flight back home, taking with you unforgettable memories of your incredible journey.
