As a nationally recognized student tour operator, EA Tours specializes in custom designing your tour - your way! Listed on this site are sample tour itineraries that you can use as a basis for your tour.

DAY 1: Today you depart the United States from your departure city, on your overnight flight to Berlin, Germany. Meals will be served and optional inflight entertainment will be offered.

DAY 2: Upon arrival in Berlin you will transfer to your hotel. Due to the early arrival of your flight, your rooms may not be immediately available for occupancy. Therefore, your luggage may be stored as you begin your exploration of this historic city with your guide. This once divided city shows the reality of the cold war era, contrasting the ultra modern structures of West Berlin with the less modern structures of East Berlin.

DAY 3: Morning departure for your guided panoramic city tour. Among the sights you may see will be evidence of the famous Berlin Wall, which once divided the city. The remainder of the day will be devoted to further sightseeing with your tour leader. Other highlights may include Kurfurstendamm and the Brandenberg Gate.

DAY 4: This is your last day in Berlin. You have time to shop and marvel at the remarkable beauty and history of Berlin.

DAY 5: This morning you depart your hotel for your trip to Munich. Upon arrival in Munich, you will transfer to your hotel for check-in.

DAY 6: A morning departure for your guided panoramic city tour. Some of the sights you will see are the Old City, the Glockenspiel chimes, and the Frauenkirche (Cathedral of Our Lady). The remainder of the day will be devoted to further sightseeing with your guide. You may wish to visit the Duetsches Museum, the German version of our own Smithsonian, or visit Dachau, the World War II concentration camp.

DAY 7: Morning departure for an excursion outside of Munich to the magnificent castles of Linderhof and Neuschwanstein, built by King Ludwig II.

DAY 8: A morning departure for Heidelberg. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel to store your luggage and begin your exploration of the city with your guide. This city captures the spirit of Germany as chronicled by poets and composers of the German Romantic Movement of the 19th Century.

DAY 9: Today is your last day in Europe. You may wish to visit Heidelberg Castle with its Great Vat, a 49,000 gallon wine vat. An additional point of interest is the Neckar Bridge. In the late afternoon or early evening, you will transfer to your airport hotel in Frankfurt for the night.

DAY 10: Morning departure for the airport and your return flight to the United States taking with you unforgettable memories of your incredible journey.

** Please remember, this itinerary is simply a sampling of what is available.
